HARDING UNIVERSITY
Harding University is a private Christian institution of higher education committed to the traditions of liberal arts and sciences. The University has eight academic units; the College of Arts and Humanities, the College of Bible and Religion, the College of Business Administration, the College of Communication, the College of Education, the College of Nursing, the College of Pharmacy and the College of Science. Graduate and Professional programs are offered in several fields. An Honors College is designed to serve all majors at the University.

ARKANSAS STATE UNIVERSITY
Arkansas State University-Beebe was established in 1927 and is located approximately 17 miles south of Searcy. Today, ASU-Beebe provides educational opportunities at four different locations, including ASU-Searcy, A Technical Campus of ASU-Beebe.
Several educational opportunities are available at both the ASU-Beebe and ASU-Searcy campuses. The ASU-Beebe campus serves students who are working on an associate's degree, earning college credit for transfer to a four year university, or students pursuing career training through an associate's degree.
In addition, ASU-Jonesboro offers bachelor and master degree programs on the Beebe campus. The ASU-Searcy Campus primarily provides technical and career training for persons who are preparing for entry into the workforce or who are looking for new career opportunities. Thirteen different programs are available during the day, with the EMT/Paramedic programs offered at night. Associates degree classes are also available at night.
