Leadership Searcy - Co Chaired by Tina Novak & Brian Dunavan
To foster up-and-coming leaders to ensure the future of the region is bright. Through education, community awareness and hands-on experience, the leadership program aims to provide the region with an ongoing source of diverse leaders at all levels of business expertise that are prepared and committed to serve as catalysts and sustainers of positive change for the quality of life in the region.
Leadership Searcy NextGen - TBD, Chair
A community-focused program for high school sophomores/juniors, designed to develop leadership, civic engagement, and career readiness through workshops on etiquette, government, business, and community service, connecting students with local leaders and businesses to build confidence and positive community impact.
Workforce Development / Education - Co-Chaired by Jennifer Pike & Megan Churchwell
The Chamber supports efforts that encourage student achievement which, ultimately, provides a better-qualified workforce for Arkansas. This work is done through advocacy at the local, state, and federal levels, through participation on a variety of boards and by supporting the work of other local groups whose goals and mission align with our priorities.
CHAMPION BUSINESS
Government Affairs - Chaired by Casey Cullipher
The role of the Government Affairs Committee is to bring focus to those issues that can have a positive influence on business, and to those issues that can be costly and unfriendly to business. Recommends political positions to the Chamber's Board of Directors, hosts Candidate Forums and Legislative Forums as needed.
Ambassador - Co-Chaired by Blake Schrepfer and Trisha Lawrence
The Ambassador Committee represents the chamber at various networking events that are held at local Chamber member businesses. These events are ideal for meeting fellow professionals and establishing long-lasting business relationships. The Ambassadors help build member commitment and raise community awareness of Chamber activities and benefits. In doing so, the Ambassadors grow professionally and personally by building business relationships within the community. They assist with the recruitment of prospective Chamber members through visiting new businesses. The opportunities may vary from year to year but can include participating in various chamber events such as networking seminars, Annual Banquet, Grand Openings & Ribbon Cuttings.
Chairman’s Memorial Golf Tournament - Philip Hays, Chair
The Golf Committee members organize the Chairman's Memorial Golf Tournament. They work together to plan, execute, host the tournament, create entertainment value - an added experience for our members and sponsors - encourage stronger corporate sponsorships and participation and generate non-dues revenue for the Chamber. The tournament highlights past Chair's contributions.
CULTIVATE COMMUNITY
Banquet - Chaired by Nicole Meredith
The Banquet Committee organizes the most well-attended event of the Chamber. Committee members are involved in organizing the annual event including entertainment, theme, and venue preparations, awards and marketing the event to the community and members.
